Gustave Moreau used realism and the fear of beast in his paintings greatly, using mythical and legendary creatures to show danger, mystery and the oddity of their lives as they live among humans, man and beast, gods and demons. It shows humanity facing off among these beasts and gods the reactions and control they have among them and/or themselves.

Body colours have started, using a yellow and grey/black mix for the basic skin, had one issue with a drop of water that caused a circle of paint to be removed (16/05/2019)

The first 6 paintings are complete
Working one two paintings at once, larger in size and a slight change in theme and board plan to be consistent.Originally the theme was going to be all on mythology with 1 board on 'evil' creatures, and the other being on 'good' creatures. The update is on bullying with one established set of creatures and one main protagonist that will be the victim in each piece. The plan is to have larger paintings from now on rather than smaller paintings.

I've decided to add another media to my board, sketching. This will help me move along the boards faster and more time efficiently, and try new mixes of the two medias (painting and sketching) and try new techniques with them.
